Tambli is an authentic curry made by any Goan Konkani. My mom prepares tambli atleast once or twice a week. She serves it with rice and fish fry. Coconut oil is mainly used to fry fish with other spices giving it an unique flavor. It takes very less time to prepare.
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 whole red chilli,
1 garlic pod,
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup water,
1 cup yogurt,
salt to taste.
Method:
Grind red chilli, garlic, grated coconut, salt together. Add water and yogurt mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with rice and fish fry.
